Did his business start booming?<br /><br />Hmmm, sort of  Rich definitely started making more baseball bats, but he was not as busy as he wanted to be  People saw Rich's number on his fold-up metal sign, but the people who called him were not always baseball bat customers  Rich found that most of his business was coming from people who were baseball fans, but he also received alot of calls from people who mistakenly thought Rich was an artist capable of doing family portraits  Rich liked that fact that his fold-up sign was bringing him business, but he started to wonder if he was using the best possible marketing approach <br /><br />Poor guy! What did he do?<br /><br />Rich bought some made-to-order metal fence signs that he could affix to different structures around town  He was annoyed that people thought to hire him as an artist, so he decided to take a more basic approach to these new metal signs by only including his name, phone and fax number and his business motto  Also, since his current customers were all somehow related to baseball, Rich decided to target his business signs towards baseball fans  Thus, Rich went to every ballpark in town and hung signs on the outfield fences <br /><br />Did this new approach solve his problem?<br /><br />Absolutely!
